Menopause Awareness and Support in the Workplace

Hi ,

I'm Annette, founder of The Mobile Menopause Library and Training. I am a certified menopause coach with a background in Public Health, Anti-bullying and Safeguarding.

My business provides menopause related packages to companies as they start out on their journey to supporting staff through Menopause. This includes offering the loan of the Menopause Library, a collection of curated evidence-based hardcopy menopause-related books, policy creation, employee awareness sessions and manager and leader training sessions.

The business also runs community workshops from time to time.

Has AI made hiring easier or harder?

Has anyone else noticed that everyone looks qualified on paper now?

AI can create polished CVs, applications and interview answers in minutes. That's great in some ways, but it also makes it much harder to understand what a candidate is genuinely capable of.

I'm curious how others are adapting.

Are CVs becoming less important?

What are you doing to assess communication, problem solving and real world thinking during the hiring process?

We are seeing clients diversify their recruitment process, asking for video introductions including answering a case study problem so that they can see how someone communicates as well as their thinking process. There's flip sides to this as not all candidates are comfortable with recording videos but having an alternative review option is something to consider (also for being inclusive).

My company is a provider of outsourced payroll services helping businesses to hire the best talent from India and Africa with confidence. We manage everything from international payroll, and HR services, to local compliance, benefits, and taxes. 

Where a client needs help recruiting, we help source talent from our office in India and our local presence in Nigeria. We recruit software engineers, data analysts, sales and marketing teams, and more. In short, if a role can be done on a computer we can find the right talent!
