Before I give up, could someone help me see what’s going wrong?

Hi everyone,

I’m completely new to e-commerce and had no previous experience in building websites, running ads, sourcing products, or managing an online business.

Somehow, after a lot of trial, error, AI, stress I managed to build what I believe is a fully working jewellery website. The products are listed, payments work, delivery works, the website looks professional, and I have even received two genuine customer order.

The original plan was simple, test the idea, and if it was clearly too difficult or didn’t work, walk away without becoming emotionally attached.

Unfortunately, I made one small mistake—I actually managed to build the whole thing working.

Now I feel bad abandoning it because I genuinely believe it has the potential to generate sales, but something is clearly off. I’m getting some website traffic, but not enough conversions. I’m unsure whether the problem is the products, pricing, advertising, trust, social proof, or something obvious that I’m too close to notice.

I have currently paused most of the spending rather than continuing to feed money into ads and hoping for a miracle.

Before I close or abandon the business, I would like to explore every realistic recovery option. I would really appreciate honest feedback from people with more experience. Feel free to be direct—I’m here to learn, not to defend every decision I’ve made.
