I’m currently building GOTHYARD, a pre-launch alternative equestrian fashion brand, and I’m now working through the financial side of getting the first collection professionally developed and launched.
I’m looking into every sensible funding route available, particularly:
• UK start-up grants
• female founder funding
• fashion/retail funding
• Isle of Wight / South Coast / regional support
• business competitions and pitch opportunities
• non-dilutive funding
• crowdfunding/pre-order funding
• responsible start-up finance
I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully funded a product-based start-up from pre-launch, or anyone who knows of programmes, organisations, advisers or opportunities I should be speaking to.
I’m trying to build this strategically rather than personally bankrolling every stage, so any genuine recommendations, introductions or lessons from experience would be massively appreciated.
