Offer for pre-revenue, values-led start-ups

I have been pleasantly surprised to see so many values-led start-ups registering on the Enterprise Nation platform, all of them led by founders who are committed to making positive social and environmental impacts either directly or indirectly.

We all know how tough starting a business is, especially at that start up stage. It is wonderful to see so many other members and EN advisers step up and offer advice and support.

At the Organisation for Responsible Businesses, we have therefore decided to offer six-months’ complementary membership for appropriate pre-revenue, values-led start-ups from any sector. We will review and may continue complimentary membership for a further six months if it is felt appropriate

The is no contractual commitment to become a fee-paying member of ORB after the complimentary period, albeit there is an ethical commitment to do so if ORB has supported a business and it has become self-sufficient! Membership starts at just £10 per month.

All ORB members have to apply for membership via a 3-stage application process which includes our 5-minute ‘perfectly imperfect’ Questionnaire, committing to our Members’ Pledge, and a 1-2-1 with me to find out more about our respective organisations and ensure there is a good values match.

This is the Pledge.

We pledge to operate our business in an honest and ethical manner; to consider people and the environment when making business decisions; and endeavour to make a positive contribution to the local community and society at large.

If you would like to apply, you can start the process by completing the questionnaire, or booking a meeting with me for a chat.

We are delighted to welcome Adrian Walker as the first EN member to take up this offer. We are looking forward to seeing Airplus Technologies grow as it is as a superb resource to support any couple at pre-conception stage and onwards to help ensure their newborn is as healthy as possible.
